Job description
This role offers the opportunity to excel as a Staff Pharmacist within a specialty retail environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. For those with a North Carolina pharmacy license and at least 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience, this position provides a dynamic setting to expand your skills and potentially transition to a direct hire role.
Location:
Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule: Monday through Friday
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break
13-week duration with chance for direct hire
Responsibilities: Fill prescriptions and compound sterile and non-sterile medications following strict safety and quality standards
Utilize PK order entry system (similar to QS1); training provided to ensure proficiency
Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with healthcare providers and the pharmacy team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications: Valid North Carolina pharmacy license required
Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
Experience in sterile compounding is a strong plus
Experience in non-sterile compounding is a plus
Willingness to learn PK order entry system with provided training
