About This Role
The Staff RN in Med Surg/Telemetry at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and leading healthcare teams.

What You'll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the healthcare team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand own and team members' scope of practice and escalation issues as appropriate.
Develop and/or contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patients' progress based on the care plan.
Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing processes.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and team members.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree (ADN) required
Experience: Experienced level required
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in California
