About This Role
The Staff RN in the Mother Baby unit provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for those who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting families during their hospital stay.

What You’ll Do
Uphold Kaiser Permanente’s Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand own and team members’ scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
Monitor the patient's progress based on the plan.
Revise plan on an ongoing basis based on patient condition.
Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plan.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing process and interventions.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and health care team members.
