Job description
Corning Inc. seeks a Staff Scientist to advance optical metrology for chemically strengthened glass within the IOX Metrology Group. You will develop measurement techniques to characterize stress-related optical behavior in glass materials.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in physics or optics, with hands-on lab experience, deep expertise in polarization optics, birefringence, and waveguide optics, and a track record in industrial R&D and metrology development.
