Job description
Staff Secretary/ClerkPerform various clerical and secretarial duties as assigned to facilitate effective office operations. Minimal qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of clerical experience. Responsibilities include assisting office visitors and telephone callers, carrying out administrative tasks, arranging staff schedules, managing correspondence, organizing files, preparing documents, managing office supply inventory, scheduling appointments, knowledge of specific software programs, experience in data processing, bookkeeping or other skills, ability to work independently or within a team environment, experience maintaining and prioritizing a manager's calendar, and the ability to keep information strictly confidential. Others duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Designated Program Administrator. Reports to: Superintendent or Designated Program Administrator. Benefits include medical, prescription, and dental benefits, pension system enrollment varies by position and certification, vacation, sick, personal and bereavement days are included. Minimum salary: $40,000.
