We are looking for a Software Engineer IV with experience in software development with strong database and data pipeline expertise. The position involves building AWS services and data pipelines for ML/AI backend systems.

Required Qualifications
The role requires expertise in Python, JavaScript, and Java as critical programming languages, with experience in DevOps tools, monitoring systems, and CI/CD processes.
10+ years of professional software development experience in production environments
Database requirements include knowledge of DynamoDB, query optimization, data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
MUST- Experience designing ETL/ELT processes, including incremental loads, backfills, and late or out-of-order data
MUST- Experience with distributed batch and stream processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink
MUST- Experience running pipelines in production: monitoring and alarming, data quality checks, and recovering from failed runs.
MUST- Proficiency with SQL at depth. Familiarity with NoSQL databases is useful
MUST- Experience with database performance optimization, indexing strategies, and query tuning on large datasets
MUST- Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database migration strategies
MUST- Experience with data warehousing concepts, such as partitioning and columnar storage.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $75/hr to $85/hr on w2.
