We offer a vibrant and enriching lifestyle but also the assurance of compassionate care and long-term financial security.As a State Tested Nurse Aide on our team, you'll serve as a vital frontline caregiver, providing compassionate, hands-on care that preserves residents' dignity and directly enhances quality of life within our facility.As a BHI Senior Living Community, the staff at The Knolls of Oxford are united in mission, we lead with compassion and provide opportunities to grow and thrive professionally.Why You'll Love Working Here:At The Knolls of Oxford, we know a fulfilling career is about more than a paycheck.We offer:Competitive wages, $20.00- $24.00 pay range and evening shift differentialsHealth benefits for full- and part-time team members (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short-Term Disability)Paid Time Off from day one and Holiday Pay401K with matching contributionsProfessional development, tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training programs to help you grow and thriveOn-site gym, daily pay option, telehealth, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)A supportive, team-oriented environment that values excellence in care and encourages staff to lead with compassion.In This Role You Will:Prepares each resident for the day and/or night by assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and activities of daily livingObtains resident vital signs in accordance with departmental policy; reads and accurately records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weightPromptly and accurately documents all required resident information in the medical recordResponds to resident call lights and other types of requests for assistance in a timely manner.Addresses resident toileting needs and incontinence issues in accordance with state and federal regulations and infection control procedures.Provides restorative care and assists non-ambulatory residents with range of motion exercises in accordance with the care plan.Passes fresh ice water and nourishments to residents within required time frames.Immediately reports any unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, and/or injuries to the DON or Nursing SupervisorFacilitate meal service for the residents: transport residents to the dining room; distribute correct meal tray to each resident; assist with feeding, as necessary; deliver meal trays to resident rooms, as required; remove trays from table, prepare and store meal trays for removalStocks and obtains necessary supplies and clean nursing equipment (e.g. bedpans, wheelchairs, etc.) in accordance with scheduled duties or as directed.Shift Details:Fulltime Day shift (7a-7p), every other weekend and some holidaysPRN shifts available day shift (7a-7p) and night shift (7p-7a), limited availabilityWho You Are:High school diploma or GED equivalentState Tested Nurse Aide license or CNA CertificateA compassionate, team player, and have passion to work with the elderly!The Knolls of Oxford is an equal opportunity employer.
