Stationary Engineer, 2nd Class
New Bedford, MA | Full-Time
We're seeking a licensed 2nd Class Stationary Engineer to oversee high-pressure boiler operations and help ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a busy manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor high-pressure boiler and steam systems
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts regulations and safety standards
Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Troubleshoot equipment issues and improve system reliability
Maintain accurate operational logs and records
Support facility operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Massachusetts 2nd Class Engineer License (Required)
5+ years of boiler or steam plant experience
Facilities and HVAC experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and safety skills
