Job description

Stationary Engineer 1st Class/2nd ClassThe Stationary Engineer 1st Class/2nd Class operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots Steam, Chiller Plant and HVAC equipment. Through the use of a computerized management system, controls temperatures and regulates the HVAC system to assure patient and staff comfort at all times. The position requires a thorough understanding of Steam Boiler, Chiller and HVAC plant equipment design and operating principles; to safely, reliably and efficiently produce and distribute the utilities of Steam and Chilled Water. This position also monitors, tunes and troubleshoots the consumption of these utilities by the Hospital's distributed HVAC equipment, such that the various Hospital spaces are properly conditioned. Accuracy is essential. Occasionally supervises work direction or instruction of other employees. Supervision provided directly by the Chief Engineer and Director of Plant Operations.You Belong Here! Ability to read and follow instruction in operations manual.Must have a working knowledge of computerized Building Management Systems.Our competitive Benefit Package is designed to support the well-being and financial security of our employees.Salary Range: Minimum 28.90/hour - Maximum 47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
