Job description
Cardiac Unit 600
This is a 40 bed unit. The Cardiac Medical Unit offers 2 Bariatric rooms and 38 private rooms. The unit is fast paced with staff that are highly motivated patient focused and team players. We require ACLS BLS certification along with telemetry competency sign off. We specialize in cardiac conditions and care for patients with: heart failure heart rhythm problems chest pain and breathing problems associated with heart problems. Cardiac Medical also cares for patients who are waiting for Angiography or Angioplasty Coronary Bypass Surgery Cardiac Testing or Cardiac Procedures Pacemaker Insertions and ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) Insertions. Medical overflow can occur on this unit as well.
Salary: $36hr - 52hr
Shift Differentials: 3-11pm - 1011p-7a - 17holiday = 1.5no weekend diff
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from a qualified nationally-accredited nursing program.
Experience: One year of nursing experience in an acute care.
Licensure or Certification: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR Ambulatory Surgery Pediatrics/PICU PACU and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).
