Job description
This Stepdown travel nurse position in Amarillo, Texas, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at BSA Hospital. This role pays $2,294 per week and follows a Days shift with a 4x12 schedule.
In this Stepdown travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Responsibilities
Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned
Travel Nursing Requirements:
2+ years of recent Stepdown nursing experience
Active Texas RN License
