Sterile Processing TechnicianJob Title: Sterile Processing TechnicianProfession: Surgical ServicesSpecialty: Sterile ProcessingDuration: 13 weeksShift: MidHours per Shift: 8 hoursExperience: Minimum of 2 years travel experience requiredLicense: Valid State License requiredCertifications: CBSPD IAHCSMM/HSPA HSPA CBSPDMust-Have: Experience in Sterile Processing required Ability to work weekends required (every 4th weekend)Description: Looking for an experienced Sterile Processing Technician. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of travel experience in sterile processing. Candidates must have the following skills: Acute Client Operating Room experience Aseptic Technique expertise Automated Endoscope Reprocessors knowledge Experience with various surgical equipment and procedures Familiarity with sterilization wrapping procedures and monitoring testing methods Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. References from the past 3 years are required during the compliance process.
