Sterile Processing Clinical LeadBoulder Community Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Clinical Lead, who, under direct supervision of the Sterile Processing Supervisor, is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the receiving, processing, delivering, tracking, and rendering safe instrumentation for patient use when needed in respective departments.Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision insurance, BCH paid life insurance; spouse and dependent life insurance plans, short-term and long-term disability coverage, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, retirement plan with BCH matching contributions and discretionary lump sum contribution, paid time off, education assistance program, voluntary wellness programs, staff support initiatives such as sound baths, meditation, massages, and reiki, and free one-on-one retirement planning sessions.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, certification (CBSPD or HSPA) required within one year of employment, sterile processing and distribution certification (CRCST), certified instrument specialist (CIS) certification or certification board for sterile processing and distribution (CBSPD). Must currently have or agree to obtain within one year of employment. One to two years experience working in a sterile processing department. Leadership experience preferred. OR tech experience preferred. Computer experience preferred. Inventory experience preferred.Responsibilities include maintaining records regarding maintenance of instrumentation and equipment, operating computer for data entry, reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment and obtaining loaner/rental instruments when requested, maintaining all surgical trays, equipment and instruments in proper working condition, assisting in orientation of new personnel, prioritizing duties in emergency and high stress situations, assisting and maintaining a clean and organized environment in sterile processing, maintaining current purchasing, inventory and receiving records on computer database, utilizing appropriate contacts, supporting and participating in quality improvement protocols and activities.About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, Colorado Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado, serving the Boulder County community.
