Central Supply Department SupervisorLocated in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community.Position Summary:Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the supervision and the daily operation of the Central Supply Department. Maintains the work flow process of case carts, instruments, basins, etc. Oversees and ensures the proper assembly, packaging, sterilization, sorting, inspection, maintenance, and handling of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies. Maintains a complete up-to-date list of tray makeup in Surgery, and the catalog and locator for all trays, packs, equipment and supplies. Oversees preparation and set-up of case carts.Qualifications:Requires Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Requires 3-5 years as a Sterile Processing Technician with 1-2 years supervisory experience.
