Job description
St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA seeks a Sterile Processing Specialist to oversee decontamination, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of sterile medical devices.
The role requires safe handling of instruments and equipment and may involve case-cart preparation for surgeries. Minimum qualifications include a high school education or equivalent, with 1 year in sterile processing preferred or completion of the STSHS apprenticeship.
