Job description
Sterile Processing TechWe are seeking candidates experienced in all aspects of sterile processing. The role involves decontaminating various surgical instruments, including drills, scopes, and the Da Vinci system. Candidates must be proficient in sterilization processes using Sterrad and steam methods. Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) is required, along with scope handling experience. Familiarity with ensuring proper sterile storage practices is essential. Candidates should have experience liaising with operating rooms to manage sterilized instrumentation. The position requires the ability to move and organize case carts and separate contaminated items. Traveling between locations may be required to ensure adequate staffing and support across multiple facilities. The technician will play a crucial role in maintaining aseptic conditions and preventing infection. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours, including occasional holidays. A professional reference from a formal leadership position is required. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative throughout the credentialing process.
