Job description
Sterile Processing TechNight shift, 5 days a week, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and occasional scheduled holidays.Assignment DetailsThis position requires an experienced traveler to work in a busy healthcare environment.RequirementsExperience with decontamination of items including drills, scopes, and instruments.Proficiency in assembling all instruments across various service lines.Familiarity with sterilization processes, specifically STERRAD and steam.Knowledge of high-level disinfection and scope handling.Experience with sterile storage practices.Past experience working as an OR liaison.Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system.Medivator experience is required.Certification from either CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA is preferred.ResponsibilitiesEnsure effective decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.Maintain sterile storage and organization of medical supplies.Assist in the assembly and preparation of instruments for surgical procedures.Act as a liaison between the operating room and sterile processing department.Utilize tracking systems to monitor instrument processing and availability.Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations within the department.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance After 90 DaysAccrued PTOContinuing Education through TLC Academy & Relias TrainingReferral Bonus up to $1, (k) with MatchAccess to Purchase AflacEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Discounts on Travel and Retail through Employee Discount NetworkLife InsuranceTLC ShiftShield income protection for eligible travelers between assignmentsCompliance / NotesCandidates should be aware of compliance regulations, including background checks and drug screening policies.
