HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that's committed to the care and improvement of human life – one surgery at a time.Your responsibilities will include:Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standardsMonitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality carePreparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needsSafely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organizedWorking closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeriesWhat qualifications you will need:1 year of experience preferred.High School Graduate / GED requiredCertified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), or Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician must be obtained within 2 years of employment start dateBenefitsMedical City Denton, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
