Sterile Processing TechEllsworth, Maine Coastal Eye Care Surgery Center Category Clinical Job ID 94301 Status PRNThe Sterile Processing Technician maintains all surgical instrumentation & scopes, sets up supplies for surgical cases.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED requiredComputer skills requiredCRCST or CSPDT certification preferredExperience in SPD and scope processing highly preferredKnows operating room instrumentation.Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.Ability to prepare reports and keep records.Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is requiredAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physiciansWhat We OfferAs a valued member of USPI, your health and well-being are important to us.
