Job PostingJohns Hopkins Ambulatory Surgery Centers provide high quality, convenient, same-day surgery and care, often at a lower cost than hospitals. Our ambulatory surgery centers are in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.Career growth and developmentTuition AssistanceDiverse and collaborative working environmentAffordable and comprehensive benefits packageInspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment in order to clean instruments and supplies. Prepare supplies and equipment for steam sterilization and low temperature sterilization.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum two years instrument processing experience required at a proficient level in all areas to include sterilization and set assemblyCertified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) OR Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)Evening Shift (3 pm- 11:30 pm)Minimum 21.88/hour - Maximum 36.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
