Job description
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)The Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical services by managing the sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. This position is essential in maintaining a sterile environment for patient care.The position involves a schedule of 3 shifts per week, each lasting 9 hours. Shifts will be from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Friday through Monday.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician; preference for candidates with 2 years of experience. Current certification as a Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required. Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts.This position offers opportunities for professional development and further training in the field of surgical services.
