Sterile Processing Tech Team Lead – Surgical Services
Lead sterile processing operations on a weekday day shift while earning $42.74 per hour. This assignment offers a consistent 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday schedule, a start date of 12/14/2026, and the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center. First-time travelers with prior leadership or charge experience are welcome to apply.

End Date/Duration: 03/15/2027; assignment duration based on listed dates
Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts; 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Contract assignment
License/Certifications: HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD certification required
Experience: 4 years of experience; previous leadership or charge experience required

What You'll Do
Lead daily sterile processing operations and support department workflow.
Coordinate the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, assembly, packaging, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies.
Verify that instrumentation is properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and functioning before patient use.
Support quality initiatives, inventory management, and regulatory compliance activities.
Mentor staff and assist with workflow coordination.
Use Censitrac and other documentation systems to maintain instrument tracking and quality standards.
Support sterile processing services across assigned locations as needed.
What You Need
HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD certification.
Four years of sterile processing experience.
Previous leadership or charge experience.
Ability to work the assigned weekday day shift and occasional holidays.
About the Assignment Join a sterile processing team at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio. This assignment supports surgical services in a teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center environment. Floating between locations may be required.
