We're currently looking for a Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Team Lead Surgical Services for a Hospital contract.Job Details:Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Team Lead Surgical ServicesLocation: Orangeburg, SCSetting: HospitalPay Range: - Schedule: 15:00 - 23:30Contract Length: 13 weeksCandidate Type: TravelerRequirements:Minimum of three (3) years of sterile processing experiencePrior leadership experience in sterile processingFamiliarity with electronic instrument tracking systems (preferred)CBSPD and/or CRCST certification (required)BLS certification (not required)Responsibilities:Directly supervise lead technicians and non-certified technicians across all SPD work areas.Assign staff daily based on workload and priorities.Oversee instrument tracking, documentation, and inventory control.Coordinate daily operations to meet surgical demand and monitor tray turnaround times.Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and regulatory guidelines.Audit tray assembly and labeling; address service concerns and participate in interdisciplinary quality initiatives.Monitor adherence to infection control and safety protocols across the department.Organize, store, and prepare instruments and equipment for sterilization processes.Why Choose VyTalent Solutions?
