Job description
Sterile Processing ManagerThis is a 13-week contract position.Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.The Sterile Processing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Central Service and Sterile Processing department operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of surgical instrumentation, manage sterilization protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department.Ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, OSHA, FDA, CDC, and all applicable regulatory standards.Supervise and train staff in sterile processing techniques and protocols.Maintain and track inventory of surgical instruments and case-cart systems.Conduct department audits and implement improvements as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Completion of an approved Central Service/Sterile Processing Technology program.Nationally or internationally recognized Sterile Processing certification.Management-level Sterile Processing certification.A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience.At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant hospital information systems.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
