Sterile Processing TechnicianSterile Processing Technician and Sr. Sterile Processing Technician openings at Providence Portland Medical Center. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. If you have the qualifications of any one of these three positions, we encourage you to apply.The Tech-Sterile Processing 1 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation. Is knowledgeable in sterile processing standard and serves as a patient safety advocate.The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
