Certified Sterile Processing TechnicianAs a Certified Sterile Processing Technician at Novant Health's Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital, you'll be trusted to deliver remarkable service while supporting patient care. Your skill, judgment and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.This Full-Time role is ideal for experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technicians looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team with exposure to a wide range of instruments.What makes this unit stand out :Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong culture of accountability and supportOpportunities to broaden your clinical skills across a variety of proceduresBacked by Novant Health's commitment to innovation, inclusion, and advancementBenefits starting day oneWhat you'll do:Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipmentEnsures the sterile instruments and equipment are availableEnsures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient careWhat we're looking for:Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
