Job description
Sterile Processing TechnicianReceives fills and delivers supply orders, processes and sterilizes instruments trays. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts.Education:High School Diploma or equivalentGraduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician Program OrSurgical Technologist Program OrOn the job training in a hospital based training programLicenses and/or Certifications:Certification by HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPDMethodist Midlothian Medical Center is the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas.
