Sterile Processing TechnicianChandler Orthopedic Center is seeking a motivated PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our team.Chandler Orthopedic Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Each patient, each family, each and every time.Job Summary:The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.Required Skills:High School diploma or GED requiredCRCST or CSPDT certification preferred1-2 years of SPD experience; some SPD GI experience preferred.Experience with ordering preferred.Experience with all types of sterilizers.Knows operating room instrumentation.Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is requiredWork schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to Close.
