Full time nights: 10pm - 6:30am, Mon-Fri, rotating weekends once fully trained. Sign on Bonus for experienced techs!Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, our Sterile Processing Technicians perform the daily cleaning, inspection and sterilization of our surgical instruments in support of the operating room and outpatient practices. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package which includes:Full benefits starting on the first day of employment6 weeks of paid time off in the first year – including 10 paid holidays3 medical plans tailored to fit every employee's specific need$5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement which includes certification renewal and so much more!Summary: Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.Essential Functions:Processes specialty and general instruments.Resets instrument sets without error.Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
