As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of our surgical instruments and equipment.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies to support the safe and efficient functioning of our ophthalmic operating rooms.Key Responsibilities:- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.- Assemble and package instruments and supplies for ophthalmic surgical procedures.- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and records.- Collaborate with the ophthalmic surgical team to ensure the availability of sterile instruments for each procedure.- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.- Assist in inventory management and order supplies as needed.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ophthalmology surgical environment.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Benefits:- Competitive pay.- Flexible work schedule.- Opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art ophthalmology surgical facility.- Training and professional development opportunities.- Supportive and collaborative team environment.
