Jump-start your career as a(an) Sterile Processing Technician today with Johnston-Willis Hospital.Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that's committed to the care and improvement of human life – one surgery at a time.Your responsibilities will include:Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standardsMonitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality carePreparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needsSafely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organizedWorking closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeriesWhat Qualifications You Will Need:High School Graduate / GEDPrevious healthcare background as a Patient care technician/Certified Nursing Assistant preferredBenefitsJohnston-Willis Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
