Job Posting$2,000 Sign-on/Retention Bonus Eligible for Full-Time EmploymentDepartment: Central Sterile Processing Work Hours: Full-Time. 10 hour or 8 hour shifts rotating. Weekend call, and one holiday per year.Decontaminates and reprocesses all in-house prepared sterile supplies. Issues, tracks, decontaminates, maintains, transports various types of patient care equipment, to provide Quality Patient Care.Qualifications:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) Certification required, or technicians will have 18 months from date of hire to pass a nationally accredited central service exam. Effective December 28, 2020 for newly hired Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Techs: • Must pass a nationally accredited central service exam for CSP and maintain certification. • CSP technicians will have 18 months from date of hire to pass a nationally accredited central service exam. • Must complete 10 hours of continuing education annually. *CSP Techs employed as central service technicians prior to the effective date of Act 80 (12/28/2020) are exempt from certification requirements.Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.Preferred: Central Sterile Processing experience.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
