Sterile Processing TechnicianWestminster Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Full Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Westminster Surgery Center is a fast paced environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.Job SummaryThe Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.Experienced in supporting in the following specialties preferred: OrthopedicsQualifications:High School diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.Experience with all types of sterilizers.Knows operating room instrumentation.Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.Understands Sterrad sterilizers.Ability to prepare reports and keep records.Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is requiredAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physiciansWhat We Offer:As a valued member of USPI, your health and well?being are important to us.
