Job description
Sterile Processor PositionWe are actively recruiting for an open position of full-time Sterile Processor.The primary location for this position is our Kenwood ASC; however, travel to our Eastgate ASC may be occasionally required to meet staffing demands.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting the operating room staff in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Responsible for position decontamination, sterile processing, instrument care and handling documentation and record keeping related to those activities. Serves as support personnel assisting providers and other personnel as needed.Essential Duties:Antipates the need for equipment and suppliesSelects equipment and supplies in an organized, cost effective and timely mannerAssures all equipment is functioning before use and removes any malfunctioning equipmentDemonstrates skill in appropriate use of instruments and equipmentCleans and restocks anesthesia supplies as assignedAssists with OR turnover and preparation of sterile suppliesAssists with preoperative patient preparation and postoperative patient dischargeTransports patients to and from and within the facilityKeeps surgical suite clean, tidy, free of soiled equipment and supplies and properly stockedAssures emergency equipment and supplies are available at all timesOperates mechanical, electrical and air-powered equipment according to manufacturer's instructionsQualificationsMust be flexible with regards to shift (as hours may vary and are dictated by needs).Graduation from an accredited high school or GED3 to 5 years' experience preferredDependable transportation required to travel to other offices as requiredCompany BenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package to our employees:MedicalDentalVision401k w/ MatchHSA/FSATelemedicineGenerous PTO PackageWe also offer the following benefits for FREE:Employee Discounts and PerksEmployee Assistance ProgramGroup Life/AD&DShort Term Disability InsuranceLong Term Disability InsuranceEyeSouth Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
