Job description
Sterile Reprocessing TechnicianThe Sterile Reprocessing Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment to meet safety and quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare instrumentation for the decontamination process by disassembly and pre-processing.Operate all disinfection and sterilization equipment according to manufacturers' specialtiesAdheres to infection control protocols, including maintenance of instruments processing logsAssembles processed instrumentsPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assignedMaintains familiarity with and abides by the Center's policies and proceduresSupports and participates in the Centers quality improvement program.Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:At least one year of experience in Sterile ProcessingGraduate of Accredited Program in Sterile Processing or Approved on the Job Training with CBSPD or IAHCSMM Certification requiredOur company participates in E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees, as required by federal law
