Job description
Sterile Processing TechThe position is responsible for assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing and/or storing procedure trays, surgical trays and equipment. Also assembles, distributes and/or delivers disposable and durable medical equipment, case carts and supplies to fill the needs of the Operating Room, Nursing Units, Ancillary Departments and SCL Clinics. Operates and monitors sterilization equipment. Disassembles carts and follows Universal Precautions for decontamination.
