nnLocation : Knight Center at WashU - One Brookings Drive, Suite 1194, Saint Louis, MO 63130. Note: online applications accepted only .

nnSchedule : Full time schedule. Days may vary; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Further details upon interview.

nnRequirement : Previous utility and steward experience required. Banquet hotel and conference center experience preferred.

nJob Summary
nSummary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
nnnSweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
n
nnOperates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
n
nnWashes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
n
nnSegregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
n
nnWashes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
n
nnTransfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
n
nnAssists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
n
nnAssist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
n
nnDistributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
n
nnComplies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
n
nnPerform other duties as assigned.
