nPOSITION SUMMARY:
nThe Steward properly clean, store and maintain all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment.
nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
nnnOperates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.
n
nnMaintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.
n
nnFollows proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
n
nnAdheres to established Ecosure standards.
n
nnMaintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment and cleaning of Dish area prior to the end of each shift.
n
nnHandles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.
n
nnComplete all training requirements.
n
nnALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
n
n nEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
nnHigh school diploma/GED preferred.
n nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
nnnExperience in and passion for consumer service
n
nnWillingness to learn new skills and be a team player
n
nnAn attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach
n
nnClean and clear service areas
n
nnFollow proper procedures as disclosed in Standard Operating Procedures as explained to staff
n

n nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
nnRegular walking, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, etc.
n nINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
nnPerforms tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
