nPOSITION: Steward DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage REPORTS TO: Steward Supervisor/Sous Chef FLSA STATUS: Part-time/On call, hourly, Non-Exempt Summary This position washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups and small equipment for the department, while maintaining the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and organized condition.
nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nMaintain and clean inventory of small wares, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
nKeep area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary
nMaintain safe and sanitary working conditions for kitchen personnel.
nDUTIES:
nKeep all dishes, small wares, and utensils clean.
nOrganize and maintain proper inventory of small wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies and equipment, reordering when necessary.
nClean and properly maintain working areas and equipment in the kitchen.
nOrganize and properly store perishables for cooks and receiving and issuing clerks.
nFollow all rules and regulations of ASM Global Food & Beverage.
nPerform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
nDelivery and set-up and breakdown of all equipment to prospective functions
nQUALIFICATIONS:
nMust have a pleasant personality and neat and clean appearance.
nMust be able to work standing for the duration of shift.
nMust be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
nOther Qualifications
nRequires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
