Steward Position at DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend
Join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend as a Steward, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations in our kitchen and dining areas. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is committed to supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and waste disposal.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment and supplies.
Support the culinary team by ensuring an organized work environment and timely replenishment of supplies.
Observe and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
