Our client specializes in custom steel structures, RV storage canopies, carports, metal buildings, architectural steel, and structural steel fabrication and installation.Pay$23.00 - $25.00/hour DOEScheduleFull-time | Monday-FridayPosition SummaryWe are seeking experienced Stick/Wire Welders to join a growing structural steel fabrication team. This position requires welding, fitting, fabrication, and assembly of structural steel components used in commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fabrication shop and occasional field installation environments.ResponsibilitiesPerform Stick (SMAW) and Wire/MIG (GMAW/FCAW) welding on structural steel componentsRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measuring toolsFabricate, fit, and assemble steel structures and canopy systemsOperate grinders, saws, torches, and other fabrication equipmentInspect welds for quality and compliance with specificationsAssist with steel installation and erection projects as neededMaintain a safe and organized work environmentFollow OSHA and company safety proceduresQualifications2+ years of Stick and/or Wire welding experienceStructural steel fabrication experience preferredAbility to read tape measures and blueprintsExperience using fabrication and metalworking toolsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyReliable transportation and strong attendance recordAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsWelding certificationsSteel erection or installation experienceForklift and aerial lift experienceBenefitsWeekly payCompetitive compensationOpportunity for long-term employment and growthWork with an established Arizona steel fabrication company
