Stock Room SupervisorJSG is seeking a Stock Room Supervisor for a temp to hire, onsite position for our well established manufacturing client. The Stock Room Supervisor works under the general supervision of the Financial Leadership Team to coordinate and direct the activities involving the scheduling and release of parts, the requisitioning of product purchased parts and the maintaining of effective inventory control records and system procedures.Essential Job Duties:Supervise assigned staff including establishing and communicating performance expectations, provide positive and constructive feedback, conduct performance reviews and determine training and development needs and make hiring and terminating recommendations while conforming to company policies and proceduresAssists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting and control operations. Implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reportingManages the inventory database and supports the department with technical, procedural, inventory control, and parts exchange support.Check inventory and request counts when variances are foundWork with the Plant Manager to adjust inventory levelsPlace inventory tags for inventory correctionsPull shortage reports for job status and report updates to supervisorsExplain processes for resolving inventory and stock issuesInvestigate inventory discrepancies and follow through on making the necessary correctionsEnsures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets.Collect and verify weekly timesheets, overtime reports, and deliver to Human ResourcesWork within the Made2Manage (M2M) system for the scraping of partsManaging of scrap metal and wood for cratingOther Duties:Assist production in locating parts in the system as neededAssist with shipping resources and any discrepancies that may delay shipmentsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or a combination of education and a minimum of three years directly related experience in a manufacturing environmentFive years supervisory and delegating experience preferredProficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of ERP, Made2Manage (M2M) system a plusMust be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writingSelf-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environmentAbility to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all laws and regulationsPossess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects, and consistently meet all deadlinesPay Rate: $30/hr.
