Are you up for the dare?Nestlé Purina has a large presence in Oklahoma City (OKC) with one of our dry pet food factories located just 10 miles outside of downtown. Having served as a production facility for over 40 years in this area as producers of Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Beneful® and Nestlé Purina ONE® brands, we've left a big paw print on this charming western city.As a Stockroom Coordinator, you will operate and coordinate all processes related to the storeroom including parts inventory, purchasing, and utilizing management systems to help enable the Maintenance Department to perform their functions promptly and efficiently. In this role, you will maintain stockroom receiving objectives and implement inventory solutions to reduce cycle count deviations and material loss. You will work to assist the Maintenance, Engineering, and Storeroom departments in enhancing performance, reliability, and quality. In tandem with receiving and inventory initiatives, you will maintain all vendor information in SAP.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Updates vendor files and local part numbers.Review all Vendor Delivery Tickets and provide direction to Purchasing Agent for PO Set-up on these tickets.Review and approve quotes for bin stock in the Maintenance Work Shops.Coordinate with schedulers and maintenance team leaders on all new part set ups with accurate descriptions, proper part numbers and internal controlsReview Static Inventory Reports. Actively participate in the decision to remove or add parts to inventory. Review, set-up and order all capital Spare Parts to be added to the storeroom.Work with accounts payable to ensure invoices and accruals are handled accurately and efficientlyMaintain inventory in accordance with Nestlé Purina best practices including cycle counts, minimum/maximum levels, and evaluating obsolete partsMaintain daily interaction with the Maintenance department to monitor and maintain service levels with vendors and suppliersREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent1+ years' experience with inventory management and/or receiving in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environmentOTHERSAP experience preferredREQUISITION ID: It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestlé.
