Stockroom SupervisorLocation: Bowling Green, KY, US, 42101Career Area: Food ServiceJob Responsibilities:Oversee and provide guidance to the Stockroom TeamUnload food and supply shipments from delivery trucksStore perishable and non-perishable goods in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storageConduct routine physical inventory counts and log stock levelsInspect goods for damage, defects, or incorrect temperaturesTransport supplies and product safely to kitchens or other storage areasDispose of trash, break down cardboard boxes, and clear empty cratesMaintain cleanliness and organization in all work areasPerforms other light maintenance and custodial tasksMaintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitationQualifications:Must have previous supervisory experience in a similar roleMust read, write, and understand verbal instructionsMust complete a sanitation course either before or during first yearMust be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective programAbility to perform basic arithmeticMaintain emotional control under stressAbility to resolve interpersonal situationsStrong organizational skillsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
