Store CustodianAs a Store Custodian at Goodwill, you'll provide an exceptional cleaning experience that will leave our locations clean, neat, and tidy!At Goodwill, we value our employees and offer competitive weekly pay, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement, generous PTO and holidays, and associate shopping discount.We foster a thriving culture built on teamwork and offer numerous career advancement opportunities, as well as FREE training and development opportunities.Your impact:Responsible for the overall cleaning experience of the storeSweeping and mopping floors along with sanitizing bathroomsCleaning sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areasEmptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessaryDusting and cleaning dressing rooms, store fixtures, office desks, furniture, etc.Cleaning windowsills and windows.Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.Responsible for monitoring inventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned work areas; re-supply when needed.Understanding and demonstrating the proper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for the department.Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.Your qualifications:Six months of custodial experience preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.Excellent customer service skills i.e. ability to communicate positively and consistently with the customer, co-workers and supervisor; delivering professional consistent results.Join us in our commitment to sustainability and making a positive contribution to our community.
