Job Overview
We are hiring a Store Expansion Manager / Senior Manager to own the full 0-to-1 launch of large-format retail stores. You will manage the entire store development lifecycle, from market & trade area analysis, site selection, lease negotiation, all the way through construction, regulatory approvals, inspections and pre-opening readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze market and trade area, source and evaluate potential store locations
Lead lease negotiation, property due diligence, zoning and entitlement review
Oversee design, construction, permit applications, fire inspection and building inspection
Secure Certificate of Occupancy, business license, signage permit and other local mandatory licenses
Coordinate facility, IT, security and internal teams for site fit-out
Conduct final inspection and ensure full pre-opening readiness for on-time store launch
Requirements
Hands-on 0-to-1 end-to-end opening experience for large-scale retail / big-box supermarket stores
In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate leasing, property DD, construction and local regulatory permitting process
Strong project management, cross-stakeholder coordination and negotiation skills
Ability to independently drive the whole store development project
