Store Manager – Bench

Your Role at Dollar Tree
As a Store Manager, you will manage the profitable operations of your assigned store by maintaining a high standard for merchandising, placement, and signage, using proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere.
Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
Foster the growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate
Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
Implement operational and merchandising direction communicated from corporate headquarters
Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution
Protect company assets
Maintain a high level of customer service across the store
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
Other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred
Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; big‑box experience preferred
Strong productivity management in freight processing required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
Ability to work in a high‑energy, team environment required
Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
