Summary
The Store Manager leads the Marc Jacobs St. Louis Outlet store in Chesterfield, Missouri, overseeing daily operations, team performance, merchandise, and sales results. This role drives commercial success through client experience, people development, visual presentation, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead the team to achieve sales targets, use KPIs to evaluate performance, and identify business opportunities.
Deliver excellent client experiences, build long-term client relationships, and execute CRM and community engagement initiatives.
Maintain visual merchandising standards in partnership with the visual team.
Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop associates; oversee performance, onboarding, scheduling, and employee relations.
Manage daily store operations, budgets, inventory accuracy, loss prevention compliance, shipments, and store policies.
Requirements
At least 8 years of retail experience, including 3 or more years managing others in a customer service environment.
Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and coach team members.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review retail KPIs and selling reports and respond to business trends.
Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and time management skills.
Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
