Role Overview
Responsible for managing store operations, staffing, and employee performance to ensure efficient processes including ordering, stocking, presentation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
Conduct performance reviews, recommend pay raises, and address employee conduct and safety expectations.
Oversee store opening and closing, monitor sales and inventory trends, and manage stock levels to meet or exceed targets.
Ensure merchandise presentation, inventory accuracy, and store cleanliness while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Manage cash handling, security, and financial integrity through strict adherence to policies.
Provide excellent customer service and foster team collaboration.
Complete documentation accurately and follow operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to interpret manuals, perform calculations, and handle cash procedures.
Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety practices.
Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred management experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred for some locations.
Physical & Work Environment
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
Fast-paced setting with exposure to weather conditions and outside travel.
