Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail store and provides leadership to ensure strong sales performance, exceptional customer service, associate development, and operational excellence.

The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail store and provides leadership to ensure strong sales performance, exceptional customer service, associate development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee all sales KPIs, including volume, margin, closing ratio, sales per guest, bedding, and protection.
Handle customer-related issues escalated above the Guest Experience Manager or Lead.
Provide exceptional leadership and timely, effective communication to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams.
Coach associates to build individual and team success in a professional manner.
Audit employee performance and administer performance evaluations for assigned staff as needed.
Maintain budgeted administrative costs, including wages and supplies.
Ensure procedures and assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Complete required reports and functions in a timely manner.
Maintain proper staffing levels for each job code in accordance with company-set budget levels.
Prepare and administer performance evaluations for assigned staff.
Coordinate and execute daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings.
Partner with the Visual Presentation Manager regarding product placement.
Communicate policy and other company information to staff members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma required.
2+ years of experience working in the retail industry.
4+ years of supervisory experience in a retail environment.
Demonstrated ability to motivate employees to achieve sales KPIs.
Ability to handle guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Ability to interview and select qualified staff.
